I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 on August 11, 2015. Generally, things were o.k.
On August 12 I updated the wireless (WLAN) and Bluetooth drivers from the Windows 10 listings. The Ethernet connection became spotty with the machine defaulting to the wireless connection. When the wireless connection was turned off the Ethernet connection did not come on.
There were no updated drivers for the Ethernet (LAN) listed at
http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers/5390;-;Aspire%20V3-572P
for Windows 10 systems.
Today, August 13, I found a LAN driver at the above site for Windows 8.1 dated July 30, 2015. I installed that and the Ethernet connection now works.
Should I update all the drivers listed on the Windows 8.1 page, all of which are dated July 30, 2015, i.e., one day after Windows 10 became available? For example, the Dolby Home Theater has stopped working. There is an audio update for Windows 8.1 but none for Windows 10. I am not sure if the audio update will fix the Dolby problem.
