Hi, just got Acer V3-371 and running Windows 10 2 weeks ago.

It have problem in connecting to my SingTel AzTech router.

Each time, I start or wake up from hibernation for my lap-top , I have to disconnect and connect several times before it got connected.

I don't know why, my mobiles and Acer Predators do not have this problem.

Not sure it is Router or Windows of Acer problem. (I have already updated my wireless driver (Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265) but does not seemed to help.

Anyone any idea ?

    BY_Chia,

Did the problem exist before you upgraded to Windows 10? It sounds like possibly just a driver issue, I would suggest removing the drivers for the wireless and restarting to let them reinstall and see if that resolves it.

Which specific model do you have, the V3-371-????

Hi, my Acer model is V3-371-72A2

I am not sure if the problem existing in Windows 8 or not because it was upgraded to Windows 10 by the retailer before I brought it home.

Okay, I will try to remove the wireless adapter from device manager and let it re-detect it from a restart.

Hi, I tried removing my Wireless network adapter (Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 and restarted my PC.

After the restart, my PC auto configure the wireless network adapter but problem still cannot be resolved.

I still need to disconnect and connect my wireless connection several times before I could connect to internet.

Btw, it have no problem connection to the router but with no internet access.

    Any others recommendation ?

    BY_Chia,

You could possibly try a refresh since it only has a problem connecting to the Internet itself, could still be a software issue.

    Hi,

I strongly believe it is software problem.

The problem seemed to be with Intel Wireless driver for Wireless-AC7265.

I have found some old blog on this issue.

    Hi Acer,

I appreciate more detail suggestion rather than telling me that this is software problem.

There is no error log displayed on windows event.

I have to dissconnect and connect to my WiFi at least 20 times inorder to get connected my WiFi.

I got connected with no internet access.

    This is frustrating !!

It work well when I connect to my 4G data.

    BY_Chia,

I understand that it is frustrating, but the reason I suggested the refresh so that would rule out any corrupt operating system files that may be causing problems. Since this came with Windows 8 and you are unaware of whether or not the problem existed before the upgrade, it is hard to actually troubleshoot the issue without just saying go back to 8 and see if the problem exists. The problem could have been created during the upgrade process, a file could be corrupted somewhere, a refresh would help narrow down whether or not going to 8 and upgrading to 10 again would need to be done.

    Hi Justin,

For the benefit of doubt, could you advise me in detail what do you mean by "try a refresh".

If possible teach me the step(s).

    Thanks
