Windows keeps crashing - big blue screen with a sad smily comes then it restarts sometimes

hi all, i bought an acer Aspire V3 - 772G with windows 8 pre installed. the thing is while in the middle of something a blue screen just pops up saying your pc just ran into some problem, gives error names such as IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, search for this error on the internet later... this has been driving me nuts lately. i thought the problem was with windows 8, so i upgraded to windows 8.1 but it still happens sometimes. how on earth can i fix this??? any suggestions. what exactly is the problem? any help is highly appreciated in advance.

after spending about 1000$ on the machine i didnt expect this sort of errors.

yes, too much common.

as suggestion, if you are still under warranty, call the Acer support service, probably is some hardware issue.

can you take a picture of this error and post it here?

to narrow the issue we need the error code.

various error codes pop up. but the next time it does i will definitely do take pictures and post them for you. but that IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL is pretty common.

by the way, do you know how i can make a hotspot using this machine? does acer have a built in tool or do i have to google around for them? thanks, unemployed acer-staff member :smileyhappy Smiley Happy

i don't know if Acer has a software to create hotspot on windows, you can search it on your windows.

then type

hotspot

by the way you can search some apps on the windows market, something like this one:

where as i can see the app come up after using windows + s, the store won't open. actually i have just noticed but windows store just wont open at all no matter what i use Smiley Sad
