VN7-792G blue screen after installed Windows 10 Anniversary update

Evening Acer Support,

Bought a VN7-792G and fresh install the Windows 10 latest build.

However, the blue screen shows up halfway through installing the audio driver 8.20.0.776.

Kindly look into it as I know VN7-592G had been resolved yesterday.

Many thanks.

I could be wrong, but I believe you are somehow trying to install an old Windows 8 driver. The current driver (assuming we're talking about the Realtek driver - which is the one that was causing blue screens) should be 10.0.14393.0 and dated 7/15/2016.  Once I installed that one, and also updated other drivers through the Acer Care Center, the blue screens stopped.

    Hi starstudio,

I could not locate the version you gave, could you provide the link?

Hi - Here are the two Realtek drivers that solved the problems on my machine. I got them both by using the Update Driver button in the Win10 Device Manager, and then choosing the Search Automatically option.

This is the one that solved my Blue Screen issues:

And this is the one that solved intermittent cutouts in the Windows 10 alert sounds:
