Hi,

My PC has screen issues and is going to be repaired by the retailer. I've reset to remove all my data but it now doesn't have any of the Acer Bloatware including Acer eRecovery.

When I purchased it it was running windows 8.1 and I got the free update to windows 10.

My question is how do I get the factory image restored, to get back the bloatware and still have Windows 10. Is Alt F10 the way to restore the factory image?

But will I then be able to update to Windows 10? My version of W10 is with a digital licence which it says is linked to my Microsoft account.

Thank you for any help you can give.

Leigh

If you did that Backup that is recomended at purchase that can be used for a "factory" restore.

Elsewise, and I choose this route, you can buy a Thumb drive/memory stick with an original win 8.1 install on it.

Once I had 8.1 reinstalled I went to Win 10 ASAP!
