V5-573PG-9610 MOTHERBOARD FAILURE, 16 MONTHS OLD

Is there any way to actually speak to someone at Acer about an out of warranty (by 4 months) Aspire V5 motherboard replacement?  If the products they sell can't last past the warranty by 4 months then there must be a quality/production issue.  This has been a great laptop and I would like to keep it especially after spending $1,000 to aquire it.  If I could get them to send me a replacement motherboard to make this right I would be forever sold on their product.  Any suggestions?  Help Please?
