Unlocked BIOS.
Upgraded CPU so I could have vt-d
Booted once.
Now only power lights light up. Blue power lights blue power button.plus small blue one for the power plugged on and battery when it's plugged in.
Tired putting old CPU back but does the same thing.
Tired pulling all power including CMOS battery.
Holding power Down than tired booting but still doesn't work.
Is there a reset button or boot pin I can reset?
Or is this what this laptop does when the motherboard is fired?
Please help thank you.

First I would check that the CPU is seated in the socket correctly. Did it almost fall in or did you have to use ANY force? Take it out and inspect the pins. Any bent?

Pull te memory and reseat it.

Check that all wires were reconnected correctly.

If you can get into bios, load the defaults.

I put old CPU back in with new paste. Pins were all perfect. I'm running run one stick of RAM I pulled the other 3.
Still only power lights the fan doesn't even try to turn on.
    Thanks,
