Touchpad issue with Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro Black Edition (Aspire VN7-591G)

Member Posts: 2 New User

Hi,

I bought my Aspire V 15 Nitro Black Edition 6 month ago. Today my touchpad stopped working.

The cursor disappeared, and no click or touch gestures on the touchpad would work.

I tried reboot, still not working.

Then I tried re-installing the drivers from the Acer Support website (TouchPad_Synaptics_18.1.22.2_W81x64) and rebooted.

Still not working and now the touchpad is gone from the Windows device manager.

At least USB mouse is working, but I'm working a lot with the touchpad so I really don't want to live without it.

Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Thanks a lot!

    Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. This is amazing to spend 1000€ for a laptop with an horrible touchpad.

I'm having the exact same issuse and nothing that I have tried has worked. It's really frustrating that there is no solution yet.
