Hi, community. I recently did clean windows install on my new laptop, because of some issues with hdd formatting. Now i installed all drivers from acer website and all works very good, but there's no bass in headphones. Before clean reinstall there was great bass, and sound quality was awesome.

Realtek drivers are from Acer website. If i uninstall them, and go back to "High Definition Audio Device" drivers, bass returns. Also before clean install, on device manager there were 2 drivers, both: "Realtek High Definition Audio" & "High Definition Audio Device". Now it seems there can be only 1 of them....

Anyone can help me fix this problem? Thank you very much!! Smiley Very Happy

normally on Realtek control panel, there's a tab labeled Enhanement, have a look if any bass or loudness option is available.

There is no "Enhanement" tab in realtek control panel. It seems like realtek drivers didn't install correctly after clean windows install. I tried reinstall realtek, but that didn't helped. There was bass, before clean install.

on device manager, uninstall both high definitions entries (right click them and choose to uninstall software too) reboot and try to re-install Realtek drivers.

please be aware that some antivirus, sometimes prevent to install drivers.

tried on my system too, as you told, bass is available only using microsoft drivers not realtek.

honestly i don't have any other ideas.
