I just purchase my laptop last week.  I have not had any problems with my wifi network until I linked my new laptop to my network.  I have spoke with the internet provider and my modem is working fine.  My network works ok with all my other wifi devices, but within 5 min of using my Acer laptop my wifi network crashes.

I would try the latest Intel driver. You do have the Intel 7265?

In Windows search type msinfo32 and go to Components/ Network /Adapter.

My laptop does not use the intel wifi.  This morning I decided to uninstall the Qualcomm Athos dirivers and reinstall them.  Since doing the reinstall wifi is working fine.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

Do you know for sure if the one you uninstalled is the same as the one you installed?

I uninstalled the drive in the device manager and then let the system detect and reinstall the driver.  My computer says its the most up to date driver.
