I have this Acer Aspire V5-473P (http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.MBGAA.007)

I have installed a new 8GB DDR3 SODIMM 1.35 V  (this one-> http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006YG8X9Y?)

But for some reason the BIOS information keeps displaying only 4GB memory.

The BIOS version I have is 2.25.

I have tried to take the new memory back and installed it again and also tried resetting the battery but no matter what, the BIOS keep saying only 4 GB.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks
