I've updated the driver to the latest version (12.0.0.102) but hosted network still is not supported on Windows 10 x64. Any suggestions?

Hello MSM. I have seen your question regarding the QCA61x4 Driver. I happen to be having the same problem. I have the latest driver installed which is version 12. I looked at your solution to install the older driver 11.0.0.373.

How do we do that exactly? I tried rolling back the driver in device manager but it takes me all the way back to version 10, which does not have hosted nework support.

I badly need to be able to create hotspots as my college only offers LAN connection!

Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Don't rollback the driver. Just uninstall it and download the version 11.0.0.373 for Windows 8.1x64 from Acer website. Install it and voilà!

PS: For 20-30€ you can buy a wireless router which is a better (more stable, no need for your laptop to be always on) solution!

Windows 8 drive really supports AP mode, but it does not support 802.11ac connections... Is there any solution that supports both AC wireless and AP mode?
