Hi

I have bought an Acer Aspire v5-573G. It has an Intel Core-i7 (1.8Ghz) 4th generation processor, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 1TB Hard-drive and an Nvidia Geforce GT 750M Graphics card with 4GB Dedicated V-RAM. I have upgraded The BIOS V2.30.

It has pre-installed Windows 8.1 64-bit.

everything is fine but the only problem till now is integration of Nvidia card with system. Whenever i install any game like GTA IV it gives message  "You don't have enough video memory and etc..".

I have uninstalled & intalled Nvidia drivers many times alone with Nvidia experience. but no joy.

Nvidia experience also detects my card and GTA IV also but fails to install optimum setting option.

One surprising thing to me that in properties of "My Computer" i dont find Nvidia card being mentioned in general info. Secondly i could not see Nvidia grafix card in "dxdiag" but in device manager Nvidia is being displayed.

Now i am so much hung up and i am even thinking to shift to Windows 7.

Any help / Advice will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

By default, the integrated graphics will be selected to save power.

My nVidia 730m doesn't show in DXDiag either but I suspect that this is to be expected as it is not active.

You can use 'Manage 3D settings' in the nVidia control panel to add a game (under the 'Program Settings' tab) and select your preferred GPU.
