Hello experts.

1. I have upgraded to Windows 8.1.

2. Installed the latest driver for bluetooth (Atheros 8.0.1.316) from http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers.

3. Bluetooth detects devices, connected at first then suddenly not connected after a few seconds. I tried sending and receiving a file, it works fine.

4. In windows 8, everytime I connect there's a window that opens where you can view the files of the device connected in my PC. This was gone in windows 8.1.

5. I search the web for solutions and tried applying thos mentioned here:

     a. http://community.acer.com/t5/Notebooks-Netbooks/Acer-V3-571G-Bluetooth-not-working-on-Windows-8-1/td-p/217421/page/2

     b. http://www.wiknix.com/solved-bluetooth-device-not-working-in-windows-8-1/

6. Restarted my PC, tried (a.) above, press Fn+F3 once on during Acer logo and spinning dots.

7. Enable my bluetooth....NOW BLUETOOTH CANNOT DETECT ANY DEVICES ANYMORE.

8. Restarted my PC, tried (a.) above, press Fn+F3 twice, no good, restarted, tried 3 times, still no good!

9. Tried (b.) but still it doesnt work. I cannot detect any devices anymore.

10. Tried uninstalling the bluetooth driver on device manager and uninstalling Atheros Bluetooth + WLAN on programs, restarted, and reinstall Atheros. Still it cannot detect bluetooth devices.

11. Tried system restore, on normal mode and safe mode, but system restore always display an error about not accessing the file because of the antivus...but I already uninstalled my antivirus and disabled windows defender and firewall.

Please help.
