Hi

I recently brought a Acer Vnitro (V592G-79W3) current spec:

- Intel 6th Gen Skylake i7-6700HQ Quad Core Processor
- Factory Default 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz Memory - Upgrade-able to 32GB max
- Factory Default 2TB HDD + 1x Spare M.2 SSD bay - Upgrade-able with 120/240/480GB M.2 SSD
- NVIDIA Geforce GTX960M Video Card With 4GB Dedicated GDDR5 VRAM
- Windows 10 Pre-Installed

- Bios version 1.11

I also recently brought a Samsung 950PRO M.2 NVMe sdd 256G. I managed reinstall windows 10 on the sdd but only under legacy mode, this was because when booting under UEFI mode the sdd drive was not bootable and did not show up as bootable. I am wondering if windows 10 is able to install on to the sdd under UEFI mode not legacy.

Thanks

    Hi,

I have posted in the other topic where you did not write all the information.

Do you have the latest BIOS version installed?

Did you transfer the windows 10 from your HDD to the NvME SSD by clonning? I think in this case you will need to completely reinstall the windows not just clone it. For simple reason that for NvME SSD you will need a different EFI module than for normal booting. Also the device drivers are different.
