Acer Crystal Eye

I have an Aspire V5-571P-6648 and have Windows 8.1.  My webcam doesn't work wth Acer Crystal Eye.  However, it does work with the Microsoft Camera app.  Does anyone have any advice?

    I think Acer Crystal Eye is only usable for taking pictures and videos and saving them in your pictures file.

    For streaming videos (incoming), however, it will depend on the app being used to open your webcam.

    Thanks for the feedback.  I recently purchased an Acer Aspire Switch 11 that also has the same version of the Acer Crystal Eye app.  My webcam works there.  I would think that my webcam should work on my Aspire V5, unless there is a setting I need to modify.
