Hello. I've had no problems with this laptop up until recently when it started to freeze randomly. It almost always happens when i leave the computer idle(no mouse or keyboard interactions) for a couple of minutes. It also always freezes when I try to install the eight Windows Updates that I have. The freezing causes the fans to go up to max and forces me to hard restart the computer. Yesterday, I went on for eight hours without any freezes because I was active the whole time. And then, when I leave it for a couple of minutes the freezing starts.

Have anyone had similar problems? Could it be something hardware related maybe? Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Many things could be causing your computer to freeze.

It could be that the computer is overheating, check the airways to make sure there is no dust build up.

A virus could also be the cause for the computer to freeze.

We suggest you scan your laptop for possible virus, and go from there.

You could also pinpoint the date that your performance issues began and restore your system to a prior date.
