Acer Aspire V5 backlight problem
Hi, I have a Acer Aspire V5 laptop. On my keyboard, the FN+ F9 key used to turn on the backlight for the keyboard.
But i have tried pressing this multiple times now and nothing is happening? what could be wrong here, anything i can do?

Can you please be abit more descriptive? what do i do after installing, which one do i install?
So far i installed the main setup.exe and restarted laptop. nothing has happened and i cant run anything called launch manager?

this is the official Acer application that enable Fn+Fx key function.
it will start automatically at boot.
Have you tried the other FN+ combination if they works?

Yes, all other FN keys i have tried are working.

Yes, it has worked before. The model is V5-571PG

Please check if you have an application called Acer ePower management, this probably allow you to manage the keyboard backlight.

there's also an Acer application to check if some functions are enabled or not:
Acer device fast-lane
check if it's available on your system.

The first application is already installed, i installed the second application and it tells me i can enable/disable some settings such as touchpad. but nothing about backlight
