Acer Aspire V5 Won't Boot Up

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I was using my computer and I got the dreaded blue screen. I hit enter and it went back to "working" correctly, but then I clicked to open Chrome and the computer restarted.  When it got to the Acer boot screen it sayd, "attempting repair" (or something to that effect).  Then nothing happened.  Where I'm at now is the computer will turn on but the monitor stays black and nothing happens.  I removed the battery and tried again and got nothing.  So, I'm wondering what I can do to get it to boot up so I can restore it.

Thanks.

are you able to enter BIOS pressing F2 at boot?

    I'm not an Acer employee.

I am not. When I push the power button, the light on the power button turns on and the backlight on the keyboard lights up.  I can hear the fan running but then it doesn't go any further than that.  The monitor never turns on and it just stays that way until the battery dies.
