Acer Aspire V17 Nitro Black Edition not starting up

Greetings,

I was upgrading the RAM  and adding an m2 SSD on my V17 Nitro Black Edition.  Thought I had everything ready to go so I buttoned it up and presed the power button.  It booted but said there was no boot device.  I couldn't power it down so I just let it go while I thought about it.  Remembered a couple of days later that I might have forgotten to hook up the hard drive to the motherboard.  Opened it back up (fortunately hadn't screwed in the bottom of the case yet) and yes, I had forgotten the hook up.  Connected the hard drive, rechecked all connections, snapped the keyboard back in and connected the laptop to it's power supply.  Pressed the power button in the upper left an nothing.  Let it stay on the charger overnight.  Got the nice blue light next to the power plug in.  Pressed the power button - nothing.  Finally found a paper clip and inserted it into the battery reset hole on the bottom for 5+ seconds.  Then tried pressing the power button.  Nothing.

Anyone have any ideas as to how to get this thing started up now?
