HELLO, I HAVE AN ASPIRE V17 NITRO MODEL VN7-792 AND I ACCIDENTLY PRESSED THE BATTERY RESET PIN HOLE AT THE BACK AND NOW IT SHOWS THAT MY LAPTOP IS FULLY CHARGED BUT WHEN I UNPLUG IT, IT INSTANTLY TURNS OFF, HOW CAN I FIX THAT, IS IT BATTERY RELATED OR IS IT BECAUSE OF THE PIN HOLE THING, FYI I PRESSED THE PINHOLE BECAUSE A THUNDERBOLT UPDATE FROM ACER CARE INSTRUCTED ME TO PUSH IT AND I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY... WAITING FOR YOUR HELP... THANKS

    Hi,

Didn't the button which is in that small pinhole got stuck somehow? Because this is how the system should behave if the button is stuck. The button simulates the battery removal, thus if the button is pressed the notebook should not use the battery. Check if the small button is not stuck somehow.  Also try to tighten the screws on your notebook. There could be a small switch which is not pressed enough.
