ACER Aspire VN7-591g lagging or freezing during gameplay

Acer please advice me. I have severe problems with lagging during gameplay. Tried both CS:GO (via Steam) and Starcraft (via Battlenet) so it cant be a software issue.

 

My specs:

Acer Aspire VN7-591g 

SNID: [edited to comply with guidelines]

Geforce GTX 860M (driver v 355.60)

Intel Core i5-4210 2.9 ghz

RAM: 8 GB

HDD1: WD

HDD2: LITEON (SSD)

WIndows 8.1 64 bit

Intel Chipset 10.0.20 (unable to update to 10.0.22 - dont know why)

BIOS 1.13

 

Considering return my purchase but perhaps you can help me troubleshoot this?

    Hey mate,

    Will do some tests tonight to check if I have same problem.I have same laptop since October 2014 and such problem with freezing and lagging wasn't noticed .

     An update to this.

     

    Been in contact with Acer support. Tried updating drivers and also a clean install of windows 8.1. That didn't help.

     

    The laptop has now been sent to Acer's Service center in Germany and have been repaired. It is now on it's way back to me. Hopefully they found something and the problem is now solved.

     

    Must say the response from the swedish service desk have been good so far.

    Please keep us informed to the situation and results from the service.  Hopefully the unit comes back with some kind of work order and details of the service.
