Hello, I bought the acer aspire v5-573g with windows 8, but the hard disk was already formated and there was no operating system. While installing the operating system on my own, I couldn't install the drivers, to be exact the intel hd video drivers, because during the instaling progress, the screen disappears. You can hear that the computer loads everything perfectly, but the screen is blank. The screen is visable only then, when you uninstall the intel hd video drivers and leave the microsoft basic display driver. Where is the problem? Is the computer faulty or are there some problems with the drivers? What specific intel hd video card drivers version (I installed the windows 8 drivers on your website) should be installed on this computer? My driver agent shows that the 10.18.10.3325 version should be installed. Would it be possible to get the system recovery image from you?
Ps, it is crucial for me, that the hdmi output would be functional with the sound

As per the information, I see that the issue is with the driver. Try the driver Interl VGA driver version (9.18.10.3165) http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/VGA

While I am installing the drivers it happens as it is shown in the video. After that , I cannot get my screen turned on, even when the computer is restarted. I updated my Bios, it did not help. http://tinypic.com/r/91h4x3/5

Thanks for the Video. Seem to be it is better to hand over the laptop to Autherized service provider in your area. Is it under warranty? Because these kind of problems happened due to Main board issues.

The laptop was bought on 2013-10-28 therefore the warranty should still be valid. How should I give proof to the seller, that the laptop is faulty because if I were to return the laptop he would remove the intel video driver and install the microsoft base drivers. In those drivers the screen does appear. The seller says therefore that there are no problems, but the hdmi output is not working ant the video settings are not the ones needed. By the way, I tried to install windows 7. Somehow I managed to install all the drivers and everything worked for about 10 hours. Later in the evening when the laptop was turned off and on again, the sreen yet again disappeared.

Hi,
May I know where you from? Please bring the laptop with purchased invoices , warranty cards to the acer authorized service point. And let them know your exact requirement. Don't go to the third party peoples. Get the genuine service. Still you must have warranty according to your details. It is easy to find acer service provider by referring acer official web site.
All the Best

I am from Lithuania. The computer was bought by a judicial subject. There is a commercial invoice for it. I have brought it to the seller, however I do not precisely know the contacts of Acer represtentatives in Lithuania.I have given the computer to the seller. He has been trying to repair it, but I do not think he will have any luck with it.
