i bought my aspire M5-481TG about 9 months back,suddenly the Sound is not working.

In task bar Speaker Icon It appears as No Audio Output Device is Installed.

Pls tell the Solution

I'm having the same issue... my laptop was fine just a couple of hours ago.

I shut it down and came back to it a couple of hours later; no sound.

Please help!

...got ya beat. Mine did that, sent it in for warranty repair. Came back a month later and the speakers still didn't work

I also don't have audio and am fed up with Acer.  This is an inferior product and will never recommend Acer to anyone.  Actually, I just convinced our IT Department to stay away from Acer based upon my experience.
