Hello,
Has anyone run into this issue or know how to fix it. I just upgraded to v2.24 and Wndows8.1. The V5 boots up at a pretty decent speed, but when shutting down, the screen will shut down and the HHD will take an additional 1 1/2 minutes to shut down. On performing a restart it takes about 2 minutes to come back up. Any suggestions?

The suggestion has been made that you need to download and install all of the Acer Windows 8.1 drivers for your system.
