Recovery disks P/N: SD45742-W7 hangs up at installing lite-on camera utility, test 29/42.

I have an Aspire 5742Z-4459 laptop that I could not recover with the installed software. I purchased the recovery disks

P/N: SD45742-W7P. All the disks loaded ok. After the reboot and it starts configuring components, it hangs up installing

Lite-ON camera utility Crystal Eye, step 29/42. Have tried several times, and wiping disk with separate program. There is

no option to bypass that option. Has anyone else had a problem with the restore disks?

I am having the exact same issue. I can't even alt-Tab to another window and kill the process. I'll post a solution if I find one.

I ended up sending it back to Acer for repair. They fixed the camera and sent a new set of recovery discs RDA5742W7P.
