Can u give me instructions how to do this, where to get driver from, It wouldn't allow me i dont think, thanks..sends me crazy this issue

Go to Acer Support, Drivers & Manuals & fill in your model no. & operating system (mine are Aspire S3-391, Windows 7-64 bit). The latest driver for the Atheros Wireless LAN is 10.0.0.274 which should work fine. I note the Win 7 32-bit still has 10.0.0.225 which is no good. Failing this you could try Drivermax as suggested in my previous post.

Thanks i put on 10.0.0.75 (24-7-2012) as suggested on page 1 drivers, seems ok just 1 drop out which was good....or do you think i should get lastest?, when was latest released. I use the 64bit windows 7 drivers

My S3-391 is actually running Windows 8.1 64-bit - I got confused with my desktop computer. I'm using the 10.0.0.255 driver which is fine. When I tried to update it to 10.0.0.276 downloaded from the Acer website, the computer said I had the latest drivers which didn't need updating. If the older driver works OK then I would leave it for now & update it later if you have further problems.

win8.1 64 bit v10.0.0.276 didn't fix the wifi connection issue on my S3-391.

It looks like issue solved by switching channel from Auto(#1) to #9 on Airport Express.

The .276 is Turing worst of them. If I have to embarrassingly reboot my computer to get Wi-Fi to work everytime it sleeps, I'll pull my hair out. I certainty can't sell impeding its worth nothing while buy a defective product. Oh then they have the option of sending the llaptop in only to have Acer get total control of whether to erase your hard drive and take it back to eight. What a pain to have to back up your hard drive only to then reinstall all your tweaked drivers, install software only to find that when I upgrade to 8.1 that atheros 276 doesn't work will piss me off. They better just put in the new Centrino card I'm sending with my laptop
