So, how do I fix a dead pixel which is just bright, and is highly noticable on light background. It's not a certain color, but looks like its just a bright pixel. Hard to describe. any way to fix it without replacing screen?

Try to do a search on youtube for "Dead pixel/stuck pixel screen fix", not sure if that will work at all.
