Hi everyone.
I bought this laptop last year and loved every bit of it. I have had no issues with it until about a month ago when I had a BIG problem. As soon as I unplug the charger, my laptop shuts off, as if there was no battery at all. Now, I've looked at the laptop and saw that there is no simple way to remove the battery. So what the heck could have happened? When my laptop is plugged in, the battery icon shows me 100% remaining all of the time.
Thank you to anyone who can assist me.

There is a similar issue that I've seen on a closely related product.

Hi Acer-Tommy, Thank you for the suggestion, but the only memory compartment on my laptop in the SD card door. That seems to be colsed and secured. I have no other memory compartments on my device.
Any other suggestions? I would have wished to purchase a new battery to replace the old one, but its not 'user-replaceable' Is it really difficult for a novice to replace?

You are absolutely correct, my mistake. The unit naming is close and sometimes does not match between systems.
In this instance, you will likely need to contact Acer service and talk to them about getting this issue corrected.
