Suddenly my ethernet internet connection no longer works.
I have tried all remedies suggested on the web but I still have the problem.
I know it is not the fault of my modem because I have an internet TV and that works fine via ethernet.
I have come to the conclusion that it must be the Lan?Vga combo cable causing the problem.
I have tried connecting a monitor to the VGA connector but that doesn't work either.
The connector hangs very loosely from the laptop because the weight of the cable forces the connrector downwards.
Has anyone had this same problem?
I can't see the point of buying a new cable as it will probably have the same problem-

Please contact your local Acer service center to check on getting a replacement cable or the unit in for repair if the connection is loose.
