Hardware = Atheros/Qualcomm

Driver = 10.0.0.276

1. Yamaha Bluetooth speaker, model NX-B02

2. Brick Bluetooth speaker

3. Plantronic Bluetooth headset

4. Bluetooth mouse 

Bluetooth mouse works perfectly.

After pairing any Bluetooth speaker or headset with the laptop, it works until one or the other is shut down. Then, to get a connection I must REMOVE and RE-PAIR the speaker.

Surely that's not part of the Grand Plan. What's wrong?

Thanks, but that video is applicable to W8. Nevertheless, I watched to see if it had any help for my situation - it didn't.
