I'm experiencing some difficulties with connecting to a wireless network. It seems like my laptop can't connect to the network unless it is in close proximity of the router. I thought maybe I should look up drivers necessary for my laptop. So i went into the divers and manuals and selected my laptop (Aspire V5-572P) and a list of drivers were displayed. I downloaded the wireless LAN driver, but I don't know what to do now. Can you guys help? Thanks in advance

What type of file it is? if it's .exe file, just right click and select "Run as Admin", if it's a zip file, right click and extract, double click the "set up" file.

it's a zip file. But I can't find the "set up" file you mentioned.

Right click the zip file and select "Extract Here", then open the extracted file, it should be in there.

After extracting the file and opening, I see the first image below.
And after opening that folder I see the second image below
Did I do something wrong?

Go to Softpedia site and download the driver 10.0.0.263( google for it), extract and find setup.exe file in that extracted folder, double click the setup .exe file.
