Hi everyone,

I was watching a movie when my computer crashed so I switched it off and on again and now I have symbols everywhere. I can't login to my account but I can see the page. The normal writing has been replaced. Can you help me please?

Can you boot up in safe mode?

At first I had the option to do so but it still came back the same.
Everywhere is showing a mix of windows, triangular, squares signs.

I am using iObit as antivirus and I wanted to remove it just before it happened as I kept getting viruses all time. I have to say I'm not a fan of Windows 8 at all as loads of ads would pop up and even if I tried different solutions to stop then showing it wouldn't work. I wonder if I'm having the problem because of this.

What kind of ads are you talking about? popups from websites? I never have an issue. Just use an ad blocker add-on in any browser.

Maybe post a picture of your screen and post it here along with a model number. Your explanation needs to be more clear. Pictures usually help.
