Luckily, I haven't had any problem with the WIFI after updating to the .221, I know this problem is frustrating but I have hope that there'll be a more efective fix in coming drivers for users that still have problems

Where did you get .221?
I have the M5-481PT with exactly the same issue. Updated it from .200 to .217 after removing all traces of previous driver and did not help at all.
It will be going back to the retailer as it is unusable right now if I can't resolve this on my own.

{POSSIBLE SOLUTION HERE}
Hi All,
It's been a frustrating time for us, I had the same issue for 3 days. I too, was within hours of returning the S7-391, but decided to work on it as it is a beatiful machine, but buggy (Wifi, & don't get me started on battery life). I did the following, & my wifi has not dropped once since 26/12/12. The 3 actions are highlighted in BOLD
1) Uninstall 10.0.0.217 (Please do not do this until you find 10.0.0.221, see below for link)
2) Install 10.0.0.221
- NB: Not update, but uninstall the current version in your laptop, then install 10.0.0.221
1. Search in Windows for 'Device Manager'.
2. In the Device Manager navigate to 'Network Adapters'.
3. Under 'Network adapters' right-click 'Qualcomm Atheros AR5BMD222 Wireless Adapter' and select 'Uninstall'
4. You will be asked if you wish to completely remove that version of the driver from the system. Select 'Yes'.
5. Reboot the system. It will now default to the 10.0.0.217 driver (Depends on when you bought the system)
- The driver seems to have been pulled out of Acer's suppor site, but can be found here.

3) Change the power setttings
1.into power setting and changed the wifi to maximum performance under advanced settings and wireless adapter settings. It will be set to low power setting by default. Change the setting in battery and plugged in.
4) Untick 'Allow the Computer to Turn Off This Device to Save Power' under atheros network adapter
NB: I have tried 075, 217 (v1, I hear they are on v3 now), they did not work for me, though 217v1 improved the wifi drop frequency from every 5 minutes to 20 minutes. I am curious why Acer pulled 221 off, & continues to work on 217.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for that. But... could you explain why you install 221 in step 2 and then write that in step 4 the system defaults to 217? Am I missing something here?

The Wifi issue is something Acer can't seam to fix. Called tech got India with horrible English and told me to download the new drivers which I did. Didn't work, still disconnects from Wifi. Also recently tested speeds with speedtest and found the Acer computer compared to two other computers in my house dosen't offer nearly the same seeds as my other two computers. Best the S7 does is 6.9 while my other comuters register speeds above 20. I paid a lot of money for a computer that can't stay connected to the internet. Way to go Acer.

Hi,
As I mentioned, it depends on when you bought your system, my default was 217, not 075. Hope this helps.

Its been 5 days since I installed version 3 of the .217 (10.0.0.217.v3) and I have had zero disconnects. I bought my machine in December.

If you are working so hard on these problems, why don't your tech support people know the specific fix? Why did a tech support person tell me to reset my computer to new and waste 20 hours of my time?
Why haven't you addressed the three main issues; Weak and dropping internet, dead Bluetooth connection, and double tapping of keys?

Running 221 for over a day now, with zero disconnects...
