Hello Support Team

I really appreciate Acer's Support Forum to address each and every Acer Product user

I got Acer S3 - 391 as a gift from US in Nov' 12
It's a great ultrabook but for the past month and a half i have been facing 2 issues -
Overheating and Reduced Battery Life (50-60mins only)

I got this Ultrabook for it's extended battery life preferred it over MacBook Air

I checked Acer Store here in India but they said it cant be repaired

Kindly suggest if there's something that can be done (DIY) to replace the battery or anything that resolves these issues
Would be great if somebody helps with this

Please note that this issue needs to be resolved on a war footing

As it's taking a toll on my office work

I'm planning to get another Acer product but now it concerns me

P.S - I use it for Office work (No gaming)

My Acer is less than two years old and it has stopped charging.  The battery light blinks 5 times then stops and nothing happens. I contacted support, but nothing worked, so they said I needed to pay $249 + tax and shipping to have it fixed.  I am stuck and very upset.  They just basically said, that is too bad, but that is your only option.  I only used this laptop when traveling.  Probably has less than 40 hours on it total.  I will never purchase another Acer again.
