Ultra-Thin

I bought a Acer Aspire V5-573G laptop last week and already have 2 problems with it. The battery has never charged and tells me "plugged in and not charging" and Internet Explorer has stopped working.

I upgraded to Windows 8.1 but internet explorer worked fine for a few days so I don't think that is the problem. I have tried to reset internet explorer but can't because the fault message comes on when I am trying.

Any help appreciated.

I have repaired internet explorer but still can't get the battery to charge up. Has any-one got any ideas.
