Hi, I have same problem, I make bios update from 2.25 to 2.26, and my laptop is going crazy...randomly shut down.![]()
We need a new bios and DOS, USB bootable tool for flashing this, because flashing from windows is unsecure !!!

Same here but with a V7. Really frustrating.

No matter laptop is,...v3, v5, v7...have same problem...maybe, for me, is first and the last laptop from Acer. Shame on you Acer!

The same problem , my laptop is almost unusable, is slow and takes a while to shutdown. Just some random unexpected shutdowns.

Hi All,
Sorry for the delay in responding. I have been informed that a BIOS v2.28 is being tested and will be posted barring any issues. Unfortunately I don't have an ETA, but I have asked for one and if that information is provided I will share it here.
Thanks.

Hi Divx,
If the system isn't booting at all, I'd recommend contacting your local Acer support team. You may need more support than what an upcoming BIOS update will provide.
