Acer Aspire S7-191 | Windows 8.1 drivers and applications.

When checking the available drivers and applications for the Acer Aspire S7-191 on http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers I see that updated drivers are available for Windows 8.1 so that is fine.

However there are no updated applications available.

Does this mean that they are simply no longer needed with Windows 8.1 (can't see why that would be the case) or that the applications available for Windows 8 should still be used with Windows 8.1?

The preinstalled applications are either updated during the upgrade or do not require an update and still work properly with Windows 8.1.
