I am thinking of changing the hard drive to a SSD drive, has anyone tried it, any pitfalls & does one need a 7mm or 5mm thick hard drive?

Hi, 

I noticed you posted awhile ago i replaced the HDD in my AO722 with an Intel 330 Series SSDSC2CT240A3K5 2.5" 240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) back in AUG 2012. i was able to get the SSD at a very good price that coupled with the addition of 2 gigs of RAM the performance gained is well worth it.Just as a side note I have 6 six SSD's all in ndifferent machines all intel's  and so far no issues  all bout  2-3 years old. Have you taken the leap to SSD ?
