Wrt the TMP658-xx, for anyone that's already opened this notebook's bottom cover, can you please confirm the correct procedure to follow and/or share any tips on how to do this?

So far, the screws around the bottom cover's perimeter (14), including the 3 smaller screws north of the grille that form a triangle around the notebook's docking station harness have all been removed (17). Yet the cover does not seem to want to come off whatsoever. Are there any other screws holding the cover on that I've missed, i.e., are there any concealed by the cover's 5 rubber pads (feet)?

    Hello,

    • Starting from the bottom side, push both sides of the inner edges backwards to release the bottom side latches from the lower case. Then continue releasing the right and left sides latches.

That was the ticket ... after removing the bottom case's 17 screws, it took a bit of effort to open the cover as is depicted in the diagram. Having a panel removal tool to help pry the case apart to begin with worked wonders.

    Merci beaucoup Laurent!
