SM Bus controller not configured

No driver listed for travlemate 276 for an sm bus driver. Need some help please!

select your OS and then download Intel chipset drivers, they contains SMBus driver.

It is installed, I donwloaded it again and said reinstall still not fixed.. and it looks like the isntall really does not work.. nothing to say it completed kind of just goes away

extracted it and installed, still SM Bus Controler in OTHER DEVICES with no driver.

can you double click the SMBUS, select details tab and scroll down to hardwareID, select the first string and copy/paste here?

ok, the driver is inside the Intel chipset package, you had to install the driver manually.

double click on the SMBus, choose to install/update the driver and you need to browse to the patch of the folder extraction.

if you can't find the folder, normally with the Intel drivers there's a little readme.txt where you can find some infos on how extract files to a folder.

Thanks so much! Bing an AIX Unix Admin, it is always a challenge to build a windows machine. There is something to be said for owning the hardware and the OS. :-)
