Hi,

I have a refurbished Acer s3-392g laptop, and I've noticed that some of the screws on the bottom are slightly loose and one has actually fallen out!

I was wondering where I could get replacement screws? There's plenty of websites online selling them, but I'm not sure what type I need, and I can't find any more info online. The screw that I'm missing is one of the ones on the bottom of the laptop, holding the shell together. There's 11 of them in total, and the missing one is on the right edge of the laptop.

Thanks!

    Thanks for the picture!

The specifications of the missing screw:

    86.2ZR62.6R5 - SCREW M2.0 x L6.5 (L=Length) - Qty 8 on the bottom.

    SP_86.2ZR62.6R5

The screw located in the other side is exactly the same. You'll be able to measure the diameter, thickness of the head.

    Hello,

Could you post here a picture indicating the missing screws?

wow, thanks a tonne! I really appreciate the help. What does "86.2ZR62.6R5" mean? Is that the specific item code for the screw?

Also, does the material of the screw have any effect on it? I've seen a few screws made of black zinc, but I don't know if they'll work or not.

No it's only the Acer part number. The screw is not a specific part.
