Spin 5 won't connect to Verizon Jetpack

I can't get my Spin 5 to connect to a Verizon Jetpack. When I look at the network list, the computer sees the Jetpack, but when I try to connect I get a message that the computer is "checking network requirements". Nothing happens after that.

 

I can connect to my home WiFi and the mobile hotspot on my Verizon Phone, but not the Jetpack. I checked for a software update, but the Jetpack reports that the software is up to date.

 

I was able to connect on my previous laptop using Win8, but not this one.

    Test the wireless on the Spin 5 without using the Jetpack, or on a different network to see if the wifi works. If the problem is only when using the Verizon Jetpack, please contact Verizon for assistance. If you cannot connect to wifi with the system by itself, please contact Acer support from the contact info posted here:
