Aspire S7 391 Screen Goes Blank

 I feel like my S7 has shaken baby syndrome.  The screen goes blank, but if the lid is juuuust at the right angle, it will come back on.  Or, it can come back on if it's shaken or dropped a few times onto my lap.  So that I don't look like a crazy woman who hates technology, does anyone know the root problem and how to fix it?  I tried looking at the other "blank screen" posts, but they don't seem to apply.

    Surely an Acer problem?

     

    It could be the hinge, it could be a broken wire, either way it seems to be a workshop kind of a problem.  A loose connector is also possible.

    Thanks, doughjohn.  I'll see if I can find someone to look at it soon, then.  It's otherwise been a great machine!

    Took it to a shop and it was indeed some wiring in the hinge and it is all better now. ????
