Aspire R Disabling Secure Boot
My VPN provider requires the old version 5 Cisco VPN Client. The VPN client installs an unsigned kernel-mode driver. The UEFI boot system uses Secure Boot, which requires signed kernel-mode drivers.
When I switch to Legacy (unsecure/non-UEFI) boot, It asks for a USB dongle, which I do not have.
What do I need to do to legacy boot from the SSD harddrive?
After I legacy-boot, will I need acer legacy drivers? Which ones?? Where do I download them???
After I legacy-boot, will I have to reinstall Windowa 10? How the heck do I do that??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you just need to install a not signed drivers, you don't need legacy or disable secure boot; you just need to disable windows signed drivers enforcement.

Dongle ? Are you using Bitlocker ? (can require a USB) May be some softweare causing but should not happen just switching to legacy.

Pressing shift during Restart, then clicking Troubleshoot, then clicking Advanced options, then clicking Startup Setting, then clicking Restart, then waiting for Startup Settings screen, then choosing 7 -- Disable driver signature enforcement (quickly).
You can then eventually install version 5 of the Cisco VPN Client version 5.
The procedure above only completes step 1 of 5; The full procedure can be found at:
