My 5315-2153 will not boot up. can't get into it in safe mode.

Got another laptop. would like to get old info out of old one.

Remove the hard drive from the laptop & use a USB to SATA adaptor, like the one shown below: 

Attach it to your new laptop via USB, and you will be able to drag the files from it to your new PC. Alternatively, you can buy a 2.5 inch caddy/enclosure. Once you've inserted your old hard drive, you can use it as a back-up drive.
