Hi I have an Acer desktop windows 7 64 bit.
My daughter had downloaded something and uninstalled it without me knowing
and pup.installcore/variant showed up on an antispyware scan that i ran.
I didnt notice the sound had gone untill i had a message come up saying,
the current dolby audio driver version expects7.2.8000.17 and the software application expects driver version 7.2.7000.4 . Please install a valid driver and software application combination.
Im not a computer whizz but i am aware of sites that pretend to help, so far i have done nothing except try to surf the web to find a site that can help me find what i need to correct this problem, but with no success.
I hope that someone can help please?

Go to the Acer download site:
http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/drivers
Navigate to your model and operating system. From there you can reinstall any missing audio drivers. If there is more than one and you are unsure of which you require, run the hardware detection program:
http://global-download.acer.com/FilesDownload/HWID
Also check the 'Application' tab for any applications that may be required.
