Have you done any updates that you can try to roll back?
You can try uninstalling and reinstalling Acer photo app to see if that helps.

You should not lose any files by uninstalling the applications. If you have any photos that are valuable or irreplaceable, I recommend saving them to another storage media, prior to uninstalling the software. This is just as a precaution.
