Got my acer laptop v5-551 with windows 8 from factory. laptop is great and all but i hate windows 8. so i decided to switch back to windows 7 home premium.

before i install windows 7, i was looking for drivers for my specific laptop but found out there are only drivers for windows 8 and 8.1

what do i do now? will these drivers work with win 7?

just need a little push in the right direction and i'll be good to go. hope someone can help

We do not offer this particular system with Windows 7, so there are no Windows 7 drivers available.

well i succeeded. it took quite some work, i would not recommend it to anyone, unless you really really want this!

still have some trouble with the VGA driver, but will sort that out. all other drivers work under win 7.

if someone needs help with this, just post here and i'll elaborate.
