I have a T180 and need to use ercovery...but I have had it a long time and don't remember my empowering tech password.

How can I find or work around it?

You could try 000000 (six zeros) as that was sometimes the default password, however, if you set the password, then the only option would be to use recovery media to restore the computer to factory defaults. I would suggest contacting technical support in your region for recovery media or to see if there are any repair options available to you.
